(OCC) Sorry for not posting to the last post. I've been super busy building a house and this past week I hardly had time to check e-mail much less reply to it.
Shalandra has been unusually quiet lately. Ever since she was put in jail she has been distant and quiet. She has spent many of her hours alone with Shalamar in the Stable.
[You actually are just noticing that she was not at the arena with you]
After everyone has been back and eaten most of the boar she comes into the inn and sees you. She is looking quite relaxed now and has a slight smile on her face.
"Hello everyone, Do you mind if I sit down? I'm sorry that I've not been around today but I've really had quite a few things on my mind and needed some time alone." She looks around and sees Maerath and sighs a sigh of relief.
"Oh Maerath. I'm so glad that you are ok. I have really been depressed over what has happened. I just feel that things were done so unfairly."
Shalandra then sits and will pick at some of the boar and other food. She glances at the stranger with the party.

Temorya's clothes billow as most of you leap down to the arena moving toward Maerath. You see some of the crowd leaping down are met with resistance from the guard, though some of the guard let them run past for they hold no love in their heart for Maerath.
Garrott plummets forward, charging assailants with his shield, knocking them sprawling to the ground, and swinging his blade so that it strikes them with the flat of the blade, also tripping them and stopping their momentum. Farli leaps from the rail landing on the shoulders of an opponent knocking them flat and leaping to another target. Lenora also makes her way into the fray, kicking and swinging her blade.
Maerath seeks a way out and looks to the champions that were to be his executioners. They nod to him and move to surround him, and protect his exit. The champions recognising a fallen comrade they begin to move forward striking at any that would come through.
Slowly moving with them Maerath is comforted as the remainder of his companions join him near the exit to fight of any remaining assailants. Most are harmless attackers untrained from the general populace that once struck a stinging blow come out of their madness and look in fear at the madness surrounding them.
Only Rose waits still on the balcony watching the goings on and the strange figure known only as The Corinthian. Finally, Maerath is out of sight and almost immediately Rose sees that those in the crowd whipped to a frenzy of madness seem to stop and look around them, like children waking in a strange room.
It is only then that The Corinthian turns again and his glasses fix on her position. His grin still stretches almost impossibly wide. With a sigh he rests against the rail and answers her questions in turn.
"I will let your Maerath answer your first question for he has been well enlightened as to who committed the atrocities he was accused of. I would hate to steal his story from him as he now knows it!"
"Why did I plan what? This is a trial of a criminal that was suspected of some of the worst crimes in the city. I am sure that I could not be accused of planning any such proceding or circumstance. You give me far too much credit my dear, though I am flattered."
"My glasses! What an unusual question but I will offer you an explanation as best I can. My eyes are old and weary of seeing the sights of this world so I hide them and seek to see this world from a new perspective. My glasses enable this and all that was old is new again - clear and correct. The way things all should be." The figure laughs quietly to himself.
"Come, let us not be enemies but go to the inn in which you are staying. See, look around you. Those that were but moments before seeking to kill Rhys... er Maerath, have forgotten his name and his crimes already. the hatred and madness it seems is fleeting and gone. A fine meal for any crazed madman dissolved and the night is yet young." he reaches out to take Rose by the arm and direct her back to the Oaken Staff.
The mood on the streets as you travel back to the inn is quiet and suspicious. Friends that once talked to each other on the street now stare at each other in suspicion. You see faces, bruised from a blow that you delivered look at Maerath and not even register that he was the target of his ire but half an hour before.
You enter the inn and find the mood also sombre. Few drinkers are at the tables this evening and the innkeep shies away from you on seeing Pean. You look over and see Elklisee in the corner table, large enough for you all to sit around. A suckling boar is roasted and sits atop a platter with several strips already carved off it where Elklisee has eaten. She sits with a mug of hurlg in her hand and nods as you all approach, looking suspiciously at the tall whiteheaded figure you all now know as The Corinthian that comes in behind you all.
She motions to the innkeep who rushes over with a serving tray full of bottles of wine, ale and spirits.
"I trust that all went well then Rhys!" She laughs, hoping her humour will break the tension that seems to hold you all from speech.....
