Gripping onto her cub Farli waits anxiously for her sight to return, hearing
noises around her but not moving for fear of being cleaved by a blind
fighter.

Blinking a few times to focus her eyes she scans the site and sees Elklisee
retching and looks over the Kalias' remains, she gags slightly before
getting up. Her brows furrow slightly at Shalandra making a fuss over
Elklisee before she goes to Garrott and says "is there anything I can do for
you? Are you hurt badly?" She does what she can for Garrott and then helps
with cremating Kalias, tears rolling down her painted face. She also covers
Elklisee's vomit with dirt so as not to attract any other predators.

She thinks a moment before answering Pean's question "from the glimpse I
saw, that was a Felux, they blind their prey before eating them, that is all
I know. I just pray there is only one of them and that it is now sated", as
she says the last few words she curls up into a ball and sobs.

Garrott stands painfully, leaning heavily upon his shield. A foul
look crosses his face and he lets a slow deep rumble like the shifting of
the bones of the Earth escape his chest. Looking down at the remains, he
allows his face to eflect the warriors calm and he remembers he has seen
scenes like this in the few battles he had attended with his kindred and of
late. With the rumbling ended, he hisses as he leans forward and uses
Kalais' bedroll to cover the remains.
"There is no sense in pursuing the beat, it is gone and it is likely that
the remains will be consumed quickly, before the other scavengers come."
The big wariror allows a flicker of pain to cross his features and he looks
to Farli. "Now it is but we my friend that are left. I wish Kerrick were
here so we could track the beast...that Ork could find a pebble in a land
slide." His eyes take on a far away look and then he returns his gaze to
the bedroll and blankets. "No, there will be no Cairn...he shall be
cremated, it is what he would want... nothing left." The big warrior looks
about the then limps back to the cart. "We need wood."
