Garrott lunges at Elklisee attempting to take her by surprise. Amazed you watch Elklisee duck effortlessly under the arms of the great rock man and with one swift movement, grasp his arm and draw her blade, putting it in the small of his back. The shortsword gleams brightly as it swings swiftly before Elklisee finds a point just at Garrott's back. You open your mouth as you see a single drop of blood run down the length of the blade, even though you know that Elklisee has shown restraint in its use.

"Stay your hand Obsidiman." Elklisee releases her grip on Garrott and steps away, sheathing the sword in a graceful movement. "I know not what causes your attack, but I am no ones fool and will not be treated as such. The cut is a reminder that I am not to be trifled with and that I have seen my fair share of Thystonnius way, but had you not saved me and Veltus on the trail, you can be guaranteed that your pain would now be far greater." The Ork steps back and looks about the room.

"I am sorry to draw a blade in your sanctum mi'lady" Elklisee nods to Sara. "I am here to obtain the stave but am willing to allow this journey to go ahead so you may stop whatever threatens you and your town. I will not, however, follow your ideas as a sheep follows the pack. I am my own person and have lived in that manner for a long time. I am prized for my skills and have lived a long time by my instinct. And my instinct tells me there will be more death and pain to come. Temorya and Pean may not be able to read my astral pattern," The pair give her a shocked look. "As my lip reading skills have shown me, but do not think I will succumb to such scrutiny easily. If there is an agent of a horror about I will not make his job easy by lowering my defences to him. I have cultivated my defences far too well over many years to let them come undone now."

Sara stares under hooded lids in shock and understanding. The conflict obviously dragging up memories of the blood shed in the house the night before. Absent mindedly she passes the stave to Temorya <Pean doesnt have the required LP - sorry> and looks to him. "Allow Shalandra to protect you on Shalamar, my little friend. The key knowledge is that this is Heffgold's Stave of Revealing. It has but one rank and purpose."

Temorya grasps at the stave and waves his hand in a practiced manner over the object. In only a few seconds, with his magical manipulation complete, the stave rises from the Windlings palm, a funny sicht as the stave is half as long as Temorya is tall, and swivels to face horizontally, pointing in a direction that is almost directly West. Experimenting you see Temorya grab at the stave and place it into his pack, the top pointing out well over the top, but it seems to become inert. Grabbing it a gain and throwing it into the air, the stave comes to rest at about 5' in the air, pointing in the same direction.

Sara reaches under her desk and draws out a wooden chest. Opening it she reaches in and draws out many potions, laying them on the desk. "I do not have enough for each of you but here are 5 healing potions, 8 booster potions a Kelia's antidote and 2 last chance salves. Consider them a gift to aid you in your travels!" She smiles a half hearted smile, still thinking of the pain that has bought you all to this point. "For any other needs you may have, provisions and the like, go with Ferrock and he will requisition what you will need within reason. Veltus and I must speak alone now. Thankyou for your service."

You watch Sara for a second before Ferrock and Angavorn start to move you toward the door to leave Sara in peace.

<Moves please>

<Cheers>
