Garrott pauses to think, before he cocks his head to the side.
"I suppose the first question to ask is...does it actually work as it is intended?" The big being stares at the wand with an intensity as if searching his memory for a time, upon his scarred face. After he has received his reply (assuming it is positive) he goes on. "Do we have any knowledge of what this treasure that is hidden may be?" The big being again ponders the answers before speaking.
"It appears to me Mistress Mayfler that you have a number of options open to you." He ticks off one finger. "One is that we use this device as bait to draw out the possible remaining illusionist and thief." Another thick finger is ticked off. "Two, we use the device as it was intended and seek out the Kaer...to possibly find out what it is they desire and take action upon finding it." Another thick finger falls. "Destruction of the item." He castes his gaze calmly to Derrock before ticking off another finger. "Removal of the item from Bush Namur and secretion someplace unknown."
His mind getting into the swing of his conversation the warrior places a hand on the head of the mace that is ever present upon his belt. "Each course has it's own risks, the biggest being that our opponents become aware of the location of the item and attempt to make off with it. I think it is safest to assume that this will be a given and have a high likelihood of happening, they after all seem to be very resourceful." His black eyes hold Mayfler's intently. "The other is that if we lead them to the Kaer, should we successfully find it...that they too will be able to locate the item they are seeking. As they seem to have knowledge of what they are looking for, it is acknolwedged that they have a tactical advantage, should we lead them to it." He folds his massive arms and let' some air escape his nose. "After all, were a party of Adepts to leave the village, it would be most obvious WHY they were leaving, I would more than likely follow them were I seeking it." He nods his head. "Destruction of the object is by no means garauntee that they cannot or will not locate the prize, or that this is the ONLY method of finding it. For all we know there could be anyone scouring the general location of the Kaer looking for it. We would also be creating a short term solution for Bush Namur...the wrath of the employer could fall upon the village, or worse, we could lose a tactical advantage that we have." The big man's Obsidiman nature for long windedness in conversations and reaching decisions is becoming apparent and he smiles at you all. "I am sorry, it is the nature of the Obsidiman to weigh up all things and make decisions over what you consider a long period, time is an unusual thing for we Obsidimen...I am trying to go as fast as I can, though I wish I could spend time conemplating this more...I apologize I wander." He smiles again. "Secretion of the item, is again, not an assured safety and has it's own risks. Likewise using the item as bait, holds possibly the greatest risk as although we can control the place of contact, there is great risk and too many variables. It would be tactically bad choice." The big being holds up his hands. "Although I am not the one to make the decision, I am bound to fulfill your request at the bequeath of my Master Omasu, as my contract with he is not complete and I am honour bound to do what you ask by his word." He indicates the device on the table with a blunt finger. "We do not even know if they can feel it, I have heard of such things in the past. However I do believe that it being here places all of Bush Namur and all those who have knowledge of it in danger." The big warrior falls silent and motions that he is finished.
