Rose smiles at Veltus "I can do as hired then." She offers a hand to Veltus "I am Rose, Veltus. I was hired to come and do as you wished until you no longer needed me." She watches his reaction to her words still smiling

Veltus leans over weakly and gently takes the young humans hand, carefully kissing it.

"Yes my girl, I remember your blade in the fight that night. Though I did not know your name, you were most welcome. I thank you for your service and will offer you a further retainer to assist these fine fellows in their task at hand!" The T'skrang looks amongst the large group that has gathered.

Temorya moves into view "That's good news, I hope you will be better soon. Hm, I should prepare you
a hot meal that would help you," Temorya looks up to Veltus, "if you can
manage it?"

Veltus nods, looking at the platter of only just luke warm porridge that has gathered into lumps. Grabbing a pitcher he tips some more milk on to the mixture before Temorya quickly makes the motions to heat the mixture. Veltus appears to brighten as the fresh smell bursts forward.

After a while he asks, "so, as you probably know what happened here, may I
ask what happened to you?"

"A fair question Temorya. I was aware that the task we had set you with Kaleb would have more than a little to do with forces outside the village so I decided to head to Lake Ban to see if I could make any more of the goings on here." He gulps down another large spoonful of porridge.

"At the floating village I was informed that there was a team of three adepts that had been about the village asking a lot of intimate questions about your little village. They appeared to be preparing to enter the village covertly to steal an item that I had purchased for Sara many weeks ago."

"Two of the three are illusionists. A T'skrang and a troll who are possibly moving about us at the moment, though from what little I have heard, you may have dealt with one of them already. The third is a formidable thief adept. Noone saw her during the groups stay in the village but from the quantities of Hurlg that was sent to her room in the inn on Lake Ban it is likely that she is an Ork."

"It was soon after this that my investigations led me to Elklisee and the rest I believe she has told you. So, is there any further news you have found?" The T'skrang takes the last spoonful of porridge and swallows it, savouring the flavour as it works its way along his elongated mouth.
