Farli giggles with a mischevious look in her eye before looking over to Garrott. She cracks her knuckles and rolls her slightly on her shoulders, before saying "I'm ready for whatever you've got ..." She puts all her effort into the mock battle relieved that her thoughts are elsewhere than the troubling events of the day.

>>Garrott stands slowly and looks to Rose and then Maerath. "Perhaps we warriors are best practiscing our art in mock battle. Let us allow our companions to discuss this in more depth, for I am uncertain of such magical things. I sense the heart of a warrior in each of you and in such circumstances our faith in Thystonius may blow away the grief that saps my energy." Without waiting to seeif they follow him, the huge rock man stoops and steps into the street.<<
Lenora looks back and forth from the room where the discussion was carrying on and the others heading off to practice and patrol. She was curious, but feeling guilty to. She felt poorly for these people who had just lost someone special to them, but knew that it wasn't her way to grieve as they did. She celebrated life, especially for those that she had lost, albeit it very few. And wished she had some of her mother's compassion now to smack herself in the head with and say something eloquent and moving on the deceased behalf to comfort others. Being that she didn't, the decision was made.
"I'll practice." She says, bumping into Garrott playfully and throwing an arm around Farli's shoulder. "Come my friend, we'll show this great big rock man the terrors of letting women band together, hmm Rose?"
Maerath looks at Garrott, and then up as Rose approaches. "You know...I need to find out if I can even swing a sword." He pulls the two-handed sword strapped to his back out. "So how does this mock battle thing work....?" he says with a slight grin.
"Oh, I hope he can. Has a rather catchy face, doesn't he Farli? Something.." Lenora lets the thought trail off. She'd get herself in trouble saying anything else. And though trouble was horribly fun, timing was terrible to flirt. Decorum. Decorum! Lenora straightened her shoulders with a sigh. "Got to work extra hard at that foot out of mouth thing today I see. Ahem."
