You relax in the midday sun, waiting for its harsh rays to carry less of a bite. Eating the rations in your pack and drinking from a waterskin you wait and watch the rock outcropping for any signs of movement. Shalandra is the first to move, taking her fine warhorse Shalamar further away from the area to avoid detection should any of the Bandits happen apon her or if they have beasts that also search the land.
It is soon early afternoon and you begin to move about the landscape to find the best vantage point to look over the point Veltus told you about.
After about an hours search you decide on a small area of rock that grants you some cover from a rock outcropping and also from a small stand of trees. You will have to move later as you will not be able to light a fire undetected from the outcropping, but under the cover of darkness, moving from here to where you first stopped should be easily achieved.
Having kept a careful watch on the stand of rocks the bandits use lookout you are certain that none are present at the moment and Temorya sets off to do some reconnaisance of the area. The rocks are a good mile off and you see Temorya spend some time walking along the ground before taking to the air, to reserve his stamina if anything should happen.
You lose sight of the Windling as he begins to circle the rocks and are surprised when an hour later he returns to camp on foot with a broad smile.
Temorya tells you that the outcropping has well protected covered sections and he could see little on his fly over. The only signs that anyone may be using the site for a lookout is of some chopped wood near the base of the outcropping. The outcropping itself is about 40 feet high at its tallest point and offers many places for the bandits to look out from. The rock outcropping has about 100 foot of cleared land all around it with only ankle high grass to be noted.
