Seeing you all finally discussing the finer points of the task at hand Sara and Ferrock start walking you to the front door. You reach the front step and realise a great deal of time must have passed as the streel lanterns have been dulled and the house is now silent and dark.

"To answer your final question, there are always losses of the silk surrounding merchant week. The week is as big for the local bandits and scorchers as it is for the merchants and for the town. The worry is that this time the theft or loss has occurred before even a single bargain has been struck and the material in the armour is reportedly fresh."

"Whatever the case, keep me in the know through Ferrock and good luck!" With a wave Sara shuts the door and leaves you to the walk back to your homes.

Come dawn you are already awake and packing a light bag to take with you on your journey. Meeting in the village square you wait for Kaleb, who arrives the latest, carrying a bag that jingles with the tools of a weaponsmith.

Shalandra rides out ahead, making certain that she is within your sight at all times, as you head for the area that the surprising and unexpected Veltus had informed you of the night before.

It takes about four hours of solid travel before you even see the stand of rocks that Veltus gave as the first marker on the way to the cave. You know that it is only a matter of four miles from here before you fall on their cave they use for rest. Veltus advising that this stand of rocks just ahead is the furthest that they have come to the town since he last saw them and occasionally they may camp or set a watch here.

Shalandra dismounts and you seet yourself on the rocky path you travel, breaking out a loaf to snack on and make your plans for infiltrating the bandits territory.....

<Cheers>
