Game Notes

1.1 Jailhouse Rock!

As soon as you walk in the room, you know Lt. Christianson is a Psychic. He's not attempting to hide it. You're fairly confident that he is the powerfull psychic you have been picking up in your "wanderings", which leaves one other..
Have you been concealing your Psychic Abilities at all? Perhaps by continual use of Detect/Conceal Arcana?

1.2 Jailhouse Rock!

You cannot read anything, subliminaly from the Lt. - he has a mental shield up, which is eiriely like no one is in - Virgil's normal experience when people are sheilding thier thoughts from him..

2.0 The Ship

You keep your mind receptive as you approach the ship, trying to pick up surface thoughts, impressions and so on. You have been holding yourself in for so long on the ship, its refreshing to open up. Space, however, is even more refreshing. There are no lingering emotions, no stray thoughts. Its very peaceful. You concentrate a bit more, and are vaugely aware of your six companions and... no, the ship is not there. Puzzled, you concentrate harder, and then harder. Stymied, you focus your mind fully on the ship (OOC: I took the liberty of using his Detect/Conceal Arcana here), and realise that, while the ship is there, its blocked from you. You have encountered some blocks before - most psionics, sooner or later, learn to shield their minds - as you do - from others, but this is different, more...organic. Plus, it covers the entire damn ship. You have never heard of a psychic powerfull enough to Shield an entire ship...

2.1 The Ship

The airlock you came in through was supposed, you remember from the plans, to house and air/raft, a small personell shuttle used for ferrying cargo and passengers between ships and (at a stretch) suborbitally. No sign of it here, you realise, although there is the floor struts etc for it..
So.. where do you want to go? I'll describe it in a seperate post to the list.. Oh, and, the astral feels slimy here, unpleasant to be in, like an algae covered swimming pool. Something bad happened around here.

2.3 The Ship

Be careful with your power points, the Detect/Conceal Arcana's are taking quite a lot out of you..

2.4 The Ship

There was a weapon refit a while after you came aboard, but you don't know what was done.

2.9 The Ship

Eye contact, together with your attempt at frying the things synapses - the first real extension of your power in years - gives you a glimpse into the mindset of the thing. Or rather it would, but there is nothing there. Dead, cold, clammy, like a heavy mist. No thoughts, no feelings, no mind to block you out or overwhelm you with its own set of perceptions and emotions.
OOC:Also, as you were low on PP, I chose not to have him attempt another stun on the creature, as it seemed less effective than on a "normal" person to him, but then, he could just be out of practice.. Hope thats OK.

4.0 The Flight Of The Odyssey

As Virgil sleeps, he dreams. The enourmous strain he has put his psyche under the last few hours takes its toll and his shield, something he has become so used to maintaining drops about the time they Jump the first Gate. His dreams become more vivid, taking on, if he but knew it, the colours of the Gate-stream, and he sees, along with their ship, beings swimming alongside the ship, some riding strange chariots, all looking curiously - malevolently? At the ship.. Then he is awake again, the announcement coming in over the tannoy.

4.4 Sitting on the dock of the..station

Your Two advancement 'level up' edges, as agreed are;
Aura Reading power
Extra power points Edge

4.7 A Modest Proposal

Amazingly, Virgil recognises the device the man uses as a white noise generator, used to defeat listening devices. Its a really ancient one, though - about 10 years old, and ultra cutting edge tech when he last played with it.
