Game Notes
1.1 Jailhouse Rock!
The guards, you notice, all wear shoes with magnetic soles to help anchor them to the floor if gravity goes out.
1.2 Jailhouse Rock!
Having a gyroc pistol on a ship is a big no-no, when such a weapon could easily
cause a hull breach. Its a sign of how much influence Lt. Christianson must
have, that he can bring one aboard ship....
2.0 The Ship
The strobe light is the alert system, usualy used to signify
decompression, boarders, or any other shipwide emergency. On a military
ship, there would be a code to the flashes, but if there is one here, you
haven't seen it before.
2.2 The Ship
You know from your past experience that engines this cold mean they've been off for a while - days or more..
2.29 The Interrogation - at low, low rates!
If Chen asks, usual docking fees are 50Cr, plus 5Cr/day. The bribes to
the harbour Master may be more substantial, though. Sometimes, they can
be paid off in goods instead of credits, and this is usual for
merchants. Buster didn't need to pay when he was travelling with his
family; he had long ago made sure that all the harbour masters got
copies of his Vid when it came out, and this helped smooth the way
several times. He never got as far out as Hope system, though..
3.1 Abandoned
In calculating their location, Buster is struck again by the fact that
the Ship does appear to have come from any known gate.

Buster is aware that how difficult a ship is to track is dependent on four things;
- How "low emission" the ship has been built, that is,how much RF "noise" it emits from the drive, power plant and so on.
- The quality of the sensor system used to scan.
- The skill of the pilot of the evading ship
- The skill of the person looking for the ship.
Buster isn't sure of his ships signature, but is pretty sure that the
Manchurian wouldn't be equipped with state of the art Mil-spec sensors,
or an operator clueful enough to see through some of the tricks he
knows how to pull. In short, he's pretty confident that he can
swiftly slip off the Manchurian's sensors if needed, not long after
they lose visual contact with the ship, which will be in about five
minutes. As he programs the computer, he is pleasantly surprised
to find that the sensors on his ship are most definitely Milspec; and
would have been SOTA about six months ago.
3.5 Your Flight is now boarding at Gate 5
There are four space suits in the Emergency Equipment Locker, fully charged with four hours of air
3.7 Why do all the bad guys like Wagner?
There are no Gates, or indeed much of anything on the Odyses's path.
